The unit in question is our abattoir and processing facility here on the farm. It includes a packing plant, and freezer or chilling facilities, all still fully equipped. Accordingly, the abattoir and processing plant are fully licenced by Food Standards Scotland and were purpose-built in 2016. Located on Downfield Farm, adjacent to a range of farm buildings they are set in a truly idyllic location in the heart of Cupar. Moreover, the farm is just over 13 miles from the city of Dundee and 12 miles from Glenrothes.

The unit available comprises of:

• Walk in chill rooms

There is mains water with electricity points throughout the facility. The buildings have been built to last and are either of stone or steel construction with insulated box profile roofing.

It would make an excellent game handling facility, with or without the butchery. There is more than enough room for use as a packing facility, and the chills would be perfect for storage. Whether you need temperature-controlled, temperate, or with the chillers switched off completely. Alternatively, it could be used as a food prep facility. An indicative rental would be £500 per week, with utility bills extra. Moreover, the use of the cutting plant equipment can be arranged by negotiation.
